Transportation
We provide bus service with community stops at no cost to families. The school is easily reached by Greensboro Transit for families who prefer public transportation.
After-school care
Families have several options for full-time after-school care, including a variety of organizations on our bus route, arts programming at the nearby cultural center, and city recreation programs at designated community stops. On select days, teachers and partners also offer on-campus clubs — from coding and robotics to chorus and drama — along with after-school tutoring.
What to wear
There are no uniforms at TESG. Students wear clothing of their choice — weather- and school-appropriate, and comfortable for both work and play. We love seeing kids’ creativity.
Safety
TESG follows standard public-school safety protocols. Exterior doors stay locked, visitors enter and sign in through the main lobby, and everyone working with students is background-checked. We maintain safety plans with local emergency responders and review them regularly.
Faith
As a public school, TESG has no religious affiliation. Children and families of all faiths are welcome.
Getting involved
Family volunteers are central to TESG, and there are no required volunteer hours. If you’d like to help, reach out to your child’s teacher or connect with our school-community committee.
